Job description

A Fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Windows Systems Administrator to join their team. Playing a major role in the implementation and support of major systems, Administrator fulfills system requirements as they relate to enterprise storage and SAN solutions. The client provides 3,500 Windows laptops to its staff utilizing modern management tools including Intune, AutoPilot, and Windows 365 virtual desktops. The Endpoint Engineering team is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator who can manage these endpoints, collaborate with engineers to develop improvements, and continue to build flexible solutions for a growing number of custom use cases. These solutions are used to satisfy business problems or provide partial solutions to more complex problems. This position supports rapidly changing technical storage infrastructures, which provide a solid foundation for production applications. The position aids in the development of enterprise storage architectures and researches trends and technologies in the storage industry. These architectures should culminate in the development in a full information lifecycle management approach for that allows the company to leverage all their storage assets in such a way that overall value is maximized while operational costs are minimized. This position performs daily operational tasks (i.e., SAN zoning, storage allocation, equipment installation, etc.) and data integrity tasks (i.e., monitoring data replication, ensuring business continuance volumes are in tact, backing up volumes, etc.). Finally, the position helps to develop and employ capacity planning and monitoring techniques so that the storage environment can be reported upon and accurately modeled.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Endpoint Management experience (kiosk, tablets, laptops, mobile devices, etc.)

  • Strong customer service attitude and background

  • PowerShell experience

  • Intune experience

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or related Fields * SCCM knowledge (helpful but not required)

  • ITIL certification

  • Apple platform familiarity

  • ServiceNow ticketing system

  • Experience with automation tied to endpoint support

Benefits & conditions

$38/hr to $48/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
