Job description
A client in the Nashville area is looking for a Programmer Analyst with expertise in PL/SQL to work on a permanent basis. This person will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, design, development, modification, implementation, and enhancements to retail software systems. This position will be working on various internal and POS projects. They will perform unit and integration testing of the work before it is sent to production, as well as create the appropriate documentation for the assigned work. There will never be a dull moment in this role. Any user requests that come in, this position will be providing that support. This person must be well-organized and have the adaptability to handle various projects/tasks at one time.
Requirements
1-3 years with Oracle PL/SQL (query development)
2-4 years programming in any of the following (Java - preferred, ASP.Net, C#).
Bash shell scripting knowledge/experience
Experience with performance tuning
Must be okay with (24/7) on-call support for any technical issues that impact the Retail Systems Bachelors degree in Information Security or related field of study preferred.
Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript, Node.js)
Experience with Python or PowerShell
Any retail business experience
Any on-call support experience
