Senior Scrum Master

Digital Charter is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join the CRAFT team in support of an examiner workflow tool - a modern replacement and enhancement of a legacy system built on AWS cloud services. Acting as a servant leader, this role is responsible for facilitating Agile adoption, removing blockers, maintaining backlog hygiene, and coaching the team toward a culture of continuous improvement. The Senior Scrum Master will work closely with the product owner, development team, and management to ensure the team fully embraces an Agile mindset., Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Coach and engage product teams on the principles of self-organization, Agile mindset, and continuous improvement

Partner with Product Owners to properly scope, prioritize, and plan current and future work

Identify, track, and remove impediments that block team progress

Maintain backlog hygiene and ensure user stories are well-defined and sprint-ready

Support the team through Agile transformation, promoting Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices as appropriate

Monitor team health, velocity, and delivery metrics and report to management

Serve as a resource and coach for Agile techniques including User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Automated Testing

Do you have experience in Transitioning development teams to Agile?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline

Minimum 10 years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives

At least 2 years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience

At least one of the following certifications or equivalent: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or CSM

Required Capabilities

Demonstrated ability to coach product teams on self-organization and continuous improvement

Experience working directly with Product Owners to scope and plan work across current and future sprints

Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe

Familiarity with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games

Proven experience executing as a Scrum Master within an Agile transformation effort
