Job description

We’re looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with deep experience in large-scale data processing, messaging systems, and cloud-native architectures. In this role, you will design and build systems that extract, process, and analyze communication data (Outlook, Teams) at scale. You’ll work across distributed systems and cloud platforms, contributing to high-performance, resilient applications that support enterprise-wide initiatives. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving data-intensive challenges, and bring strong ownership to their work.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java full-stack development
  • Hands-on expertise with Outlook and Microsoft Teams data extraction

Experience with email/message parsing libraries such as:

  1. Apache James
  2. JavaMail
  3. Mime4j
  4. MsgParser
  5. Apache Tika
  • Proven experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, data processing, storage, security)
  • Experience building streaming and batch processing systems at scale
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience working in distributed systems and large-scale environments
  • Familiarity with Databricks

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with data and messaging frameworks: Kafka, Spark, Storm
  • Knowledge of ELT/ETL pipeline design and implementation
  • Experience with security frameworks and protocols: TLS, OAuth, OIDC, KMS
  • Exposure to compliance, surveillance, or regulatory applications
  • Familiarity with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
  • Experience with polyglot programming (procedural and functional languages)

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices
  • Experience with CI/CD, TDD, cloud-native design, and system resiliency
  • Ability to work across multiple systems and technologies in large enterprise settings
  • Demonstrated leadership in Agile teams or mentoring engineers
  • Passion for staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
