Job description

PulsePoint, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead in Newark, NJ

Duties:

Design and develop software solutions and components by gathering requirements, iterating in Agile sprints, and ensuring quality through collaboration, testing, and continuous delivery.
Track and resolve software defects and issues, while analyzing and tuning application performance with a focus on message throughput and latency.
Provide production support for Ad Exchange software, ensuring seamless operation and quick resolution of incidents.
Interface with users to capture and analyze business requirements to align solutions with organizational goals.
Evangelize new technologies by evaluating software products, defining proof-of-concepts, and implementing innovative architecture patterns.
Manage source code control (Subversion, Git), build tools (Maven, TeamCity), and issue tracking systems (Jira) to maintain streamlined development processes.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead-related occupation.
