Job description
We are seeking a talented Server-Side Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, building elegant solutions, and delivering exceptional user experiences. You’ll play a key role in developing the Backend for Frontend (BFF) API layer that supports award-winning mobile applications used by millions of customers globally.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop scalable server-side applications
Build and maintain Backend for Frontend (BFF) services for mobile applications
Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
Refactor, optimize, and improve existing codebases
Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs
Troubleshoot issues and fix production bugs
Perform performance analysis and optimization
Create and maintain unit tests and CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams
Integrate with existing enterprise backend systems and services
Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tooling?, Strong experience building server-side applications
Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Knowledge of Gradle and modern build tools
Experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming concepts
Experience working with legacy codebases and modernizing applications
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience working in Agile development environments
Ability to design solutions for complex and open-ended problems, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
