PeopleSoft Security Administrator

LocalPeople LLC, a trusted public sector ERP consulting partner, is supporting the State of Oklahoma, Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), in identifying a qualified PeopleSoft Security Administrator to support enterprise financial systems within the Information Services Division.

This role is embedded within a highly structured government environment and will directly support statewide financial operations, requiring a strong understanding of governance, compliance, and enterprise-scale PeopleSoft security administration., The PeopleSoft Security Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and governance of security across the State’s PeopleSoft ecosystem. This includes managing user access, enforcing security policies, and ensuring alignment with statewide compliance requirements.

The selected candidate will work closely with OMES leadership, Identity and Access Management teams, Oracle support, and functional stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant system operations., This position will lead the administration of PeopleSoft security architecture, including the creation and maintenance of Permission Lists, Roles, and Row-Level Security aligned with OMES standards. The role requires hands-on management of user provisioning processes across Azure Active Directory and Oracle Identity Cloud Services, ensuring appropriate access for agency users.

The administrator will also oversee query security and sensitive data governance, support non-production environments for testing and validation, and ensure system integrity following upgrades and refresh cycles. Responsibilities extend to coordinating with Oracle on service requests, participating in change management processes, and supporting testing efforts through tools such as PeopleSoft Test Framework.

Additionally, this role will collaborate across technical and functional teams to implement enhancements, resolve service requests, and support audit readiness, including participation in annual statewide security audits.

Do you have experience in PeopleSoft?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with at least three years of direct PeopleSoft security administration experience.

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with Permission Lists, Roles, Row-Level Security, Menu/Component access, and Tableset security within an enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working within public sector environments, particularly supporting statewide PeopleSoft FSCM implementations, is strongly preferred.

Additional strengths include familiarity with Identity and Access Management integrations (Azure AD, Oracle Identity Cloud Services), Oracle Service Requests, CEMLI lifecycle management, and enterprise change governance processes. Experience supporting hybrid on-premise and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments is also highly valued.
