Job description
They are looking for someone who can become the internal owner of their Oracle Cloud ecosystem as the organization transitions from implementation into long-term operational support. The successful consultant will work closely with Hyatt’s implementation partner while taking increasing ownership of the Oracle environment, validating architectural decisions, identifying risks, establishing standards, and ensuring Hyatt can successfully operate and support the platform after implementation activities conclude. This role is ideal for someone who has previously inherited large Oracle environments, challenged implementation partner recommendations when necessary, built operational support models, and successfully transitioned enterprise Oracle platforms into steady-state operations. The individual selected will ultimately become Hyatt’s trusted Oracle Cloud subject matter expert and technical authority. What they need now is someone who can determine: Is the environment built correctly? Are integrations sustainable? Is security configured appropriately? Is the architecture scalable? Can Hyatt support this platform after consultants leave? What documentation is missing? What operational risks still exist?
