Job description

As a Federal Evaluation Project manager you are responsible for bringing elite project management and experience as a subject matter expert to customers looking to evaluate mobile video, license plate readers (LPR), and digital evidence management software. You will work closely with aligned sales and engineering teams to provide successful evaluations to ensure customers have positive solutions based outcomes leveraging our ecosystem of products. Your contributions and key position ensure that the solutions we partner with our customers in a shared mission to solve for safer., * Manage evaluation projects including body and in-car camera systems, LPR, digital evidence management, and real-time operating system software applications, such as CommandCentral AWARE

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Schedule internal engineering and training resources as well as 3rd party installers
  • Lead project kick-off, check-in, and wrap up calls with customer, sales, and engineering stakeholders
  • Review current evaluation processes and procedures to validate we are delivering world-class solutions that showcase our products and continue to further develop the program to streamline and bring forward additional value
  • Act as a conduit for feedback from customers and end-users to product management, marketing, development, and other appropriate groups.
  • Look for opportunities to create additional collateral including, but not limited to, training materials, how-to videos, and technical documentation.
  • Engage in opportunities with the sales team and provide technical solutions expertise to external stakeholders.
  • Ability to captivate a meeting by delivering world-class product demonstrations and compelling technical presentations to both C-Level and front line decision makers.
  • Proactively seek out both internal and external training opportunities to stay current on MSI products and services as well key complementary technologies, industry trends, and relevant certifications. Ultimate goal is to be able to set up and demonstrate the ecosystem of Video centric solutions (LPR, in-car, body worn, LPR and fixed video)
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System troubleshooting?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of experience in one of the following: Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Public Safety experience

  • OR 6+ years of experience in one of the following: Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Public Safety experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude that demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for technology with an aptitude for customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Possesses strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills with strong knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security.
  • Has excellent time management and consistently meets deadlines with focus and purpose.
  • Strong knowledge of or experience utilizing MSI mobile video, LPR, software, and/or radio products is highly desirable.
  • Ability to self-manage working as an individual contributor or as part of a collaborative group.
  • Familiarity with federal standards such as FedRAMP highly desirable.

Travel

  • Up to 75% of the time in US, * Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of experience in one of the following: Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Public Safety experience
  • OR 6+ years of experience in one of the following: Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Public Safety experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
