Job description
Lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce solutions. This role blends hands on development with technical leadership, ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, and aligned with mission objectives. You’ll collaborate with government stakeholders, guide junior developers, and drive best practices across the delivery lifecycle.
Architect, design, and implement complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and declarative tools Lead technical discussions, refine requirements, and translate business needs into secure, scalable designs Oversee code quality, enforce development standards, and mentor junior and mid level developers Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and secure data exchange patterns Support release management, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance with federal security, accessibility, and documentation requirements Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend long term improvements Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure solutions align with agency policies and mission priorities
Requirements
Extensive experience with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, SOQL, integrations, platform architecture) Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and governor limits Experience working in structured, regulated environments (federal or similar) Ability to lead technical efforts and mentor other developers Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect are highly desirable
Benefits & conditions
$115,000 to $125,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.), Gridiron offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), disability & ADD insurance, life and pet insurance to eligible employees. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 30 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Gridiron’s benefits programs.
