Job description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. SDET to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions for a large, customer-facing enterprise application for an automotive client. This role focuses on building and executing automated tests using Java/Selenium and related frameworks, performing API, UI, and functional testing, and integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. The engineer will collaborate closely with technical leads, developers, architects, product owners, and testers to define automation strategies, analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure high-quality releases, while supporting occasional manual testing as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining test documentation, improving automation frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in testing tools and processes. The ideal candidate thrives in an Agile environment, actively participates in Scrum ceremonies, communicates effectively with onshore stakeholders/team
Requirements
8+ years of experience as an SDET
Extensive experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
Extensive experience with Java/Selenium
Strong programming skills in Java, C#, or Python
Solid understanding of BDD and TDD practices - Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development and how to write test cases to support either
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
