Lead Software Engineer

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer on behalf of our client in O’Fallon, Missouri. This role is ideal for an experienced Power Platform professional with expertise in building scalable business applications and workflow automation solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications that enable critical business processes and product initiatives., Design, develop, and maintain advanced Microsoft Power Apps Canvas applications. Build and support robust Power Automate workflows that operate efficiently in production environments. Optimize existing applications for performance, scalability, usability, and maintainability. Design and manage data models using Dataverse and integrate with SharePoint and other enterprise data sources. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Implement best practices for application architecture, governance, security, and lifecycle management. Troubleshoot application and workflow issues, ensuring reliable system performance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive technical excellence across Power Platform solutions., Opportunity to work on impactful enterprise initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Extensive experience developing Microsoft Power Apps Canvas applications. Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate for enterprise workflow automation. Deep knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft Fabric. Proven experience designing and supporting scalable, production-grade Power Platform solutions. Strong understanding of application performance optimization and maintainable design patterns. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience within financial services, payments, fintech, or other highly regulated industries. Prior experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, or serving in a technical leadership capacity. Familiarity with enterprise application integration and modern cloud-based architectures.
