Senior Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join a large enterprise technology environment. This individual will be responsible for supporting, securing, and enhancing critical network security infrastructure while leading technical initiatives and project delivery efforts.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across firewalls, VPN technologies, network security operations, and enterprise infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support enterprise network security infrastructure
• Administer firewalls, VPN gateways, web proxies, and load balancing solutions
• Lead network security projects from planning through implementation
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues
• Support production environments and participate in on-call rotations
• Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and security teams on strategic initiatives
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Monitor and improve overall network security posture

Do you have experience in VPN management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 10+ years of Network Security Engineering experience

• Strong experience supporting enterprise firewall environments
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies, web proxies, and load balancers
• CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Security, or CCIE Enterprise certification
• Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point administration experience
• Experience supporting large-scale production environments
• Proven project delivery and implementation experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP or equivalent security certification
• ITIL certification
• Experience within highly regulated enterprise environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field

$70 - $80 an hour - Full-time, Contract
