Job description

TechTrans International provides language services and travel logistics - language teaching, interpreting, translating, travel coordination and much more. We have international offices, staff and clients calling us from around the world. We are seeking a specialized, on-site CBT Delivery Developer in Honolulu, Hawaii for a contingent opportunity based on contract award. In this role, you will design and develop interactive courseware and computer-based training in the native Chamorro language for host nation audiences. You will convert written materials into interactive courseware, storyboard multimedia, and develop educational multimedia using industry-standard authoring tools. You will collaborate daily from our Honolulu office with regional customers and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy, instructional alignment, and cultural appropriateness., * Curriculum Development: Design and develop total course materials for participants and facilitators, including instruction, exercises, evaluations, activities, and job aids.

  • Instructional Design: Determine appropriate vehicles and delivery channels (instructor-led, CBT, virtual web-based, blended solutions) to achieve desired performance outcomes.
  • Multimedia Authoring: Plan and storyboard multimedia. Develop educational multimedia using tools such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Dreamweaver, Articulate Studio, or Raptivity.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, and evaluation plans. Evaluate materials during development for instructional alignment, styles, and specifications.
  • SME Collaboration: Interact directly with on-site customers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to guarantee the technical accuracy of the instructional content.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Training program design for professional development?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Experience: 3 to 10 years of professional experience developing, coordinating, delivering, evaluating, and documenting training programs, instructional materials, readiness events, exercises, and workforce development activities.

  • Education: Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or Master’s (MA/MS) degree.
  • Education/Experience Equivalencies:
  • High School Diploma / GED: 7 years of relevant experience
  • Associate’s Degree: 6 years of relevant experience
  • BA/BS Degree: 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • MA/MS Degree: 2 years of relevant experience
  • Doctorate Degree: 0 years of experience
  • Competency: Journeyman personnel are expected to perform functional duties independently.
  • Certifications: Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), instructional design certification, instructor certification, or equivalent training.
