DevOps / Infrastructure Support (Part-Time)

QcNs is seeking a DevOps and Infrastructure Support professional to assist with the deployment, maintenance, and operation of cloud-based development and simulation environments supporting advanced technology research efforts.

This role will help ensure reliable infrastructure, secure development workflows, automated deployment pipelines, and efficient collaboration across the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Support development, testing, and simulation environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Monitor system performance and availability.
• Manage source control repositories and development tools.
• Support cybersecurity and infrastructure hardening efforts.
• Assist engineering staff with deployment and configuration activities.

Do you have experience in Tooling?, * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities., * Experience supporting research or engineering organizations.
• Familiarity with simulation and high-performance computing environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools).
