Embedded Engineer, Steering, Vehicle Software

• Bachelor’sDegreein Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar areas of study, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in C, familiarity with MISRA C a plus

• Proficiency in Python

• Fluent in software fundamentals including software design and maintainability

• Experience with embedded microprocessor tools

• Experience working with PCBA schematics

• Experience with real-time operating system development

• Experience using Vector CANape or CANalyzer a plus

You will solve some of the most challenging problems that span vehicle dynamics, motor controls, safety systems, and embedded software engineering. What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment

• Develop peripheral drivers for microcontrollers (CAN, SPI, ADC, PWM, SENT)

• Develop device drivers for angle sensors, gate drivers and other devices

• Writesoftware-in-the-loop (SIL) tests using python

• Hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging and code optimization

• Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements
