Job description

Our Personal Lines department seeks a reporting data analyst. This role uses project management skills and data awareness to leverage existing databases and reporting to support PLD business partners. They will utilize basic querying languages and tools to create meaningful statistical-based analysis and reporting., * develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support planning, performance monitoring, and strategic decision-making

  • partner with underwriting, product, data engineering, and other stakeholders to understand and anticipate stakeholder needs
  • proactively discover data insights and communicate insights to business partners, explaining key drivers, assumptions, and reporting nuances
  • support multiple stakeholders by managing priorities, attending planning discussions, and contributing to ongoing business initiatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in Statistics?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role (insurance or financial services preferred)

  • experience with data query languages (e.g., SQL, SAS) and data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • strong analytical background with the ability to apply statistical techniques and interpret results
  • ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • experience working with large datasets, data structures, and reporting environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, analytics, data science, or related field

Preferred:

  • experience in Personal Lines insurance (auto, home, or related products)
  • experience building interactive dashboards and automated reporting solutions
  • familiarity with data governance, predictive modeling outputs, and data integration concepts

Benefits & conditions

Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $82,000-$144,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
