Job description

Commonwealth Strategic Solutions is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to serve as the primary authority for data analysis and reporting across clinical informatics, Agile integration, and interoperability initiatives supporting agencies within the Federal Government. This role is central to a high-visibility program requires deep familiarity with health IT systems, clinical data standards, and Agile delivery environments., * Design and maintain data pipelines, perform advanced analytics, and ensure data integrity for clinical and operational decision-making across federal health IT systems

  • Support integration of multiple health IT systems, validate data migration fidelity, and provide actionable insights to program leadership
  • Develop and deliver data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting products using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools
  • Support Agile delivery cadences including PI Planning, backlog analytics, and velocity metrics
  • Validate data migration fidelity during EHR transition activities and interoperability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Federal data governance, HIPAA, and security standards
  • Collaborate with clinical, technical, and program management stakeholders to translate data into operational improvements

Requirements

Do you have experience in SAFe?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, or a related field

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics or health informatics
  • 3+ years working with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, SNOMED, LOINC) and interoperability
  • Demonstrated expertise with SQL, Python or R, and ETL processes
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments (PI Planning, backlog analytics, velocity metrics)

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, or Public Health
  • Experience supporting Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program or related health IT initiatives
  • Familiarity with Federal data governance frameworks and HIPAA-compliant data environments

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Practitioner

Clearance & Citizenship

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be eligible for public trust clearance/background investigation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge
