Job description
The Infrastructure Manager’s primary responsibility is to maintain current information and condition ratings for the sanitary and storm drainage systems infrastructure. The individual manages the infrastructure inspections program and is responsible for maintaining WSD’s inspection equipment to include the CCTV system, the SL-RAT acoustic inspection system, hand cameras and supporting equipment. The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing the District’s GIS system, including hardware, software and data management; performs GIS spatial analysis and develops, maintains and updates GIS databases. The Infrastructure Manager assists customers and contractors with WSD’s systems information. The person also assists with WSD’s construction management program.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Sanitary sewers?, The Waterville Sewerage District is recruiting for an Infrastructure Manager. The work performed is split in both a general office environment and a field work environment. Work is occasionally stressful and requires ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and successfully cope with the pressures which are related to the position., Qualifications needed for this position include: A minimum of three years of experience working with GIS systems or completion of an accepted GIS Certification Program. Strong understanding of Sanitary and Storm Drainage collection systems operations and maintenance. Skill in the organization, analysis, and retrieval of information. Grade 3 Collection Systems Certification or must be able to complete Grade 1 Certification withing one year of employment and work up to Grade 3 within NEWEA timelines. Valid Maine driver’s license.
