Job description

Our client, a Big 4 Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced professional to join their team. This role focuses on container orchestration, cloud infrastructure automation, and ensuring the seamless deployment and management of microservices architectures.

Requirements

Container & Orchestration: Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including container orchestration, management, and lifecycle management (building, deploying, scaling).
Containerization Technologies: Deep understanding of container creation, management, and deployment using Docker and various container runtimes, as well as managing container registries (specifically Artifactory).
Cloud & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong proficiency with cloud platforms-particularly Microsoft Azure-and integrating containerized applications into cloud environments. Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
CI/CD & Automation: Solid knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes using Microsoft DevOps. Experience writing automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Go to optimize system workflows.
Configuration & Networking: Experience utilizing configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) and a strong proficiency in container networking (Kubernetes networking, DNS, load balancing, and service discovery).
Monitoring & Microservices: Solid understanding of microservices architecture on AKS. Experience tracking performance using logging and monitoring tools, specifically DataDog and Azure Application Insights.
Troubleshooting & Support: Proficiency in optimizing containerized applications (resource allocation, performance tuning) alongside experience navigating ITIL ticket management processes (incident, problem, and change management).
Modern AI Tools & Development: Hands-on experience leveraging AI Tooling (such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex) to assist workflows. Supplemental development experience in C#, .NET, or JavaScript (JS) is highly helpful. #LI-SB1 #LI-Remote
