Job description
The National Simulation Center’s Global Simulation Capability serves as the US Army’s Constructive Simulation Provider for Army Corps and Division Headquarters home station training events in the Continental United States. This is position supports the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center at Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ., * Continuously monitor security access and alarms, analyzing potential threats and responding promptly to security breaches, incidents, and system irregularities.
- Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collect and analyze risk intelligence to understand emerging cyber threats and remain updated on the latest security trends and dangers to protect the organization proactively.
- Document all security incidents, actions taken, outcomes for future reference, compliance requirements, and reporting occurrences to relevant stakeholders and authorities as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Security system vulnerability testing?, * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment., * Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role.
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts.
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
- Possess IAT II Certification.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Successful experience working in a team environment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to government contract requirements.
Security Requirement: Active SECRET Security Clearance.
