Job description

Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
-
Gather business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

Develop reusable metrics, prompts, filters, and schema objects.
-
Optimize report performance and improve query efficiency.
-
Lead end-to-end migration of enterprise reports and dashboards to MicroStrategy platform.
-
Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting for migrated reports.
-
Collaborate with ETL, data engineering, architecture, and business teams.
-
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained.
-
Support production deployments and resolve performance or application issues.
-
Participate in architecture discussions and BI modernization initiatives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in UNIX?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, Primary Skill: Hands-on experience in Dossier, Oracle(Security and VPD) and has played role as Microstrategy Architect. Secondary: Experience: 10+ yrs Roles & Responsibilities: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field. Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in MicroStrategy architecture, development, and administration.

Expertise in:
o Reports o Dashboards o Dossiers o Intelligent Cubes o Documents o Metrics & Filters o Schema Objects

Experience with MicroStrategy Architect and metadata management.
-
Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
-
Hands-on experience in performance tuning and report optimization.
-
Expertise in developing enterprise BI and analytical reporting solutions.
-
Strong understanding of OLAP, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
-
Experience with ETL processes and integration with enterprise data sources.
-
Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or cloud-based data platforms is preferred.
-
Experience integrating MicroStrategy with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
-
Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting knowledge.
-
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
-
Experience with security configuration, user roles, and access management in MicroStrategy.
-
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Migration Experience
-
Strong experience in migrating legacy BI reports and dashboards from SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or other reporting platforms to MicroStrategy.

Expertise in report conversion, metadata mapping, data validation, and performance optimization during migration projects.

Experience redesigning and modernizing reports and dashboards within MicroStrategy.
-
Ability to analyze existing reporting environments and implement scalable migration strategies with minimal business disruption.
-
Experience performing report reconciliation, testing, and production deployment during migration initiatives.
