Job description

Leads the strategic design, implementation, management, and administration of FPI’s compensation/benefits programs. Audits job content and prepares job descriptions. Develops and/or participates in compensation/benefit surveys to analyze FPI’s competitive position. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to establish guidelines and recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems. Recommends company salary structure movements, salary increase budgets, and FLSA exemptions. Prepares special studies and makes recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, and other compensation programs. Administers and communicates the FPI’s benefits program plan options, features and enrollment requirements; assists employees with benefit claim administration inquiries. Analyzes cost containment strategies. Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws governing both compensation and benefits practices. Directs the operations of FPI’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Oversees system implementations, data integrity, and workforce analytics while serving as the critical bridge between HR, ITM, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient, scalable HR operations. Analyzes business and software requirements to meet data management needs. Ensures the integrity of internal database files and security; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Workers’ compensation insurance knowledge?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred

  • 8-10 years of progressive professional experience in the management of employee benefit and compensation programs
  • 7 plus years supervisory/managerial experience
  • CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) certification preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering remuneration and benefits/compensation strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications, data query tools, and word processing software
  • Solid knowledge of DOL, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA, Worker’s Compensation, Affordable Care Act (ACA)
