Job description
Based in our Easton, PA office, the Engineering Systems Administrator will play a key role in executing and maintaining product data within our ERP system (Syteline) including Bills of Material (BOM), item master records and Engineering Change documentation . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is energized by building relationships and influencing strategy., Product Data Execution
- Interpret engineering drawings to validate BOM structure
- Create and maintain item master records
- Maintain BOMs and routings per approved direction
- Ensure ERP structures support planning and costing accuracy
- Maintain consistency across related assemblies
Engineering Change Execution
- Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
- Maintain revision control accuracy
- Ensure effectivity timing consistency
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineers for clarification
ERP Structure Integrity
- Maintain multi-level BOM accuracy
- Maintain routing data accuracy
- Maintain item master consistency
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and ERP data
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support Product Engineering data alignment
- Ensure routings reflect approved process structure
Continuous Improvement
- Identify data inconsistencies
- Recommend workflow improvements
- Support development of data standards
- Assist with product data cleanup projects
Decision-Making Authority
- Execute standard BOM updates independently
- Maintain routings within approved structure
- Correct data discrepancies consistent with standards
- Escalate non-standard structural changes
Requirements
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Engineering Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing and maintaintaining product data within ERP including Bills of Material (BOM), routings, item master records, and Engineering Change documentation. Ensures ERP structures support manufacturing execution, material planning, and costing accuracy while operating with professional autonomy within established governance standards., * Associate’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience supporting ERP or product data
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with BOM structures
- ERP experience required (Syteline preferred)
- Strong Excel skills
- Structured and detail-oriented mindset
