  • Rate limiting: @nestjs/throttler (used in backend), Develop and maintain scalable and robust backend systems for mobile applications and websites, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Collaborate with front-end developers, mobile app developers, and designers to integrate backend functionality seamlessly into user interfaces.

Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between frontend interfaces and backend services.

Optimize database queries and data access methods to improve application performance and responsiveness.

Implement authentication, authorization, and security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Monitor server infrastructure, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance scalability and stability.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet project deadlines.

Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve backend issues and ensure the overall quality of the product.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain backend services in cloud environments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Backend Developer, specifically working on mobile applications and websites.

Strong proficiency in development languages such as Javascript and Typescript.

Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Next.js, React and React Native

Solid understanding of database management system PostgreSQL.

Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Experience with AWS cloud platform such as AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and session management., * Software development: 5 years (Required)

$79,449.74 - $105,000.00 a year - Part-time, This is an Equity-first, transitioning to salary.
