Job description
We’re looking for an experienced FPGA Engineer to join a highly technical engineering consultancy delivering cutting-edge projects across radar, communications, and advanced sensing applications.
This is an opportunity to work on genuinely complex, real-world technology programmes within a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, systems and DSP engineers.
What you’ll be doing:
Developing high-quality FPGA and DSP solutions across the full development lifecycle
Working predominantly with AMD/Xilinx devices and the Vivado toolchain
Translating customer requirements into robust FPGA-based implementations
Collaborating closely with electronics, firmware and systems teams
Supporting technical discussions, design reviews and project planning
Requirements
Strong FPGA development experience using HDL (VHDL and/or Verilog)
Experience with AMD Vivado (other FPGA platforms also considered)
Solid grounding in Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
Experience with simulation, verification and test
Understanding of RF systems would be highly beneficial
Consultancy experience or a collaborative, adaptable mindset
