Data Center Engineer

Primary Skills : Time Management, Network, ITIL, BICSI Certification, Troubleshooting, Driver’s License, * Strong organizational and time management skills

• Knowledge of business and process within IT, retail and payment systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while understanding and contributing to the IT initiatives and projects
• Excellent planning, analytical, organization and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
• Must be ability to redirect efforts within a project to meet the business objective and customer needs
• Solid knowledge of data center facilities and operation
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to multi-task and be proactive in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads
• Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure, as well as be highly responsive to business needs
• Knowledge of electrical critical power, networks systems and construction (power redundancy, HVAC and CAD drawings)

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related area or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in IT infrastructure or a datacenter environment
• Experience in negotiation with third party vendors
• Experience in physical data center design and network MDF design
