Job description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with expertise in Accumulo to join our team. The ideal candidate must have an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our organization’s databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity., * Install, configure, and maintain Accumulo database systems.

Monitor database performance and ensure availability and reliability.
Implement and maintain database security protocols.
Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot database-related issues and collaborate with other IT teams to resolve them.
Develop and implement database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Database Administrator.
Proficiency in Accumulo database administration.
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of database security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
