Job description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with expertise in Accumulo to join our team. The ideal candidate must have an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our organization’s databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity., * Install, configure, and maintain Accumulo database systems.

  • Monitor database performance and ensure availability and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain database security protocols.
  • Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and collaborate with other IT teams to resolve them.
  • Develop and implement database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Database Administrator.
  • Proficiency in Accumulo database administration.
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of database security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
