AI Platform Architect - Biopharma

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Temporary AI Platform Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in software architecture, cloud computing, and AI platform development, with a strong focus on creating scalable, secure, and efficient AI solutions. The successful applicant will drive the development of a flexible and resilient AI platform that supports advanced machine learning and data processing capabilities., * Design and develop comprehensive AI platform architecture leveraging cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.

• Lead the integration of various data storage solutions including NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra, as well as relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server.
• Develop scalable microservices architectures utilizing RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and service-oriented architecture principles to facilitate seamless data exchange.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and related DevOps tools to streamline deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software development teams to establish best practices in system design, including UML modeling, design patterns, and SDLC methodologies.
• Ensure robust security measures through identity & access management protocols and secure API development practices.
• Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and other automation tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Contribute to the creation of high-performance web applications using front-end technologies such as Angular, React, Ember.js, Bootstrap, Kendo UI, and Ext JS.
• Oversee the implementation of cloud architecture strategies aligned with organizational requirements for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Do you have experience in Web services design?, * Proven experience in software architecture with a focus on AI platforms or large-scale data processing systems.

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing environments including AWS, Azure, or similar platforms; experience with cloud architecture design is essential.
• Extensive familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), relational databases (MySQL, Oracle), and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs, Web services (SOAP), microservices architecture, and service-oriented architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in front-end web development frameworks such as Angular, React, Ember.js along with HTML5/CSS3 for web design purposes.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, system design principles, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Perl, and ActionScript is preferred.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration tools such as Weblogic WebSphere JBoss; experience with APIs (RESTful & SOAP) is required.
