Specialist - SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer

The Specialist in this profile will translate business requirements into intuitive, accessible, and scalable Fiori experiences adhering to SAP Fiori design guidelines and UI/UX best practices for web and mobile Fiori apps. Also, you will get to actively engage with developers, functional and business colleagues as part of the design process. Your principal goals would be to ensure all Fiori apps have best practice UI/UX, done in an efficient and cost-effective manner to ensure maximum user adoption of Fiori applications.

• In this role, you should have deep hands-on experience of Figma for wireframing, prototyping, component libraries, and developer handoff as well as good knowledge of SAP standard Fiori application designs in S/4HANA systems
• You should have solid knowledge of SAP Fiori design guidelines, floorplans (e.g., Overview Page, List Report / Object Page, Worklist, Analytical List Page), Freestyle apps and SAPUI5 controls are part of your role
• It is good for you to have understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, basic JavaScript) sufficient to collaborate effectively with SAPUI5 developers
• You must have good experience planning and conducting user workshops, research and usability testing, and translating findings into Fiori design decisions
• In addition, you should have familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x), color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader considerations
• You should be proficient in creating user flows, information architecture, and interaction design for CRUD, search / filter / sort, and approval workflows
• You must have experience with SAP BTP Work Zone and SAP S/4HANA Launchpad, SAPUI5 web/mobile apps and role-based UI layouts
• Moreover, you must have exposure to OData-driven UIs, Smart Controls, and SAP Fiori Adaptation Frameworks.
• You must have experience working in Agile/Scrum with Azure DevOps and collaborating via Git-based workflows with developers
• You must have experience with SAP BTP Work Zone and SAP S/4HANA Launchpad, SAPUI5 web/mobile apps and role-based UI layouts
• Moreover, you must have exposure to OData-driven UIs, Smart Controls, and SAP Fiori Adaptation Frameworks.
• You must have knowledge of Fiori custom theming (e.g., based on SAP Quartz/Horizon) and light/dark mode considerations

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You must have 4-5 years of professional experience in UI / UX design with a strong focus on enterprise applications; at least two years most recently delivering SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 experiences
• For this role you should have a degree or equivalent from a reputed institute in Design, HCI, UX, or related field
• You should have formal training and/or Certification in related technology or process areas would be desired
• In addition, you should have strong portfolio, including Fiori, demonstrating responsive enterprise UI, complex data-heavy workflows, and mobile patterns
• Moreover, you should have technical Knowledge in the specific technical areas and experience in working in offshore teams
• You should have experience planning and leading UI/UX design workshops with end users
• You must have knowledge of Fiori custom theming (e.g., based on SAP Quartz / Horizon) and light/dark mode considerations
• You must have attention to detail in states, empty / error handling, and micro-interactions
• And also, you should have full project lifecycle and system support experience desirable
• You must have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills safety management, process engineering, and engineering projects
