Job description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our international team in Colombia. This role focuses on modernizing legacy applications into a modern architecture using .NET Core, REST APIs, and React. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills in C#/.NET and front-end expertise in React, with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications., * Application Modernization: Transform legacy codebases into modern .NET Core and React applications.

  • Full Stack Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs using C#/.NET Core MVC and build responsive front-end interfaces with React.

  • Code Quality & Standards: Perform code reviews, identify refactoring opportunities, and ensure adherence to best practices.

  • Testing & CI/CD: Develop automated unit and integration tests; contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

  • Architecture & Design: Collaborate on architectural improvements, microservices adoption, and containerization strategies.

  • Troubleshooting: Provide support for production issues and act as an escalation point for complex problems.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (C#, Java, C++, or C).

  • Strong .NET experience (MVC, Web APIs, web forms); experience with RESTful services and JSON.

  • Front-End Expertise: 2+ years with React (or Angular); solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Database Skills: 2+ years with SQL (design, optimization, performance tuning).

  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and platforms like Bitbucket.

  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with TeamCity, Octopus, or similar.

  • Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Testing: Knowledge of test automation frameworks and continuous integration tools.

  • Microservices Architecture: Understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented design.

  • Preferred: Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating to modern frameworks.

  • Exposure to AWS services and cloud-native development.

  • Experience with performance optimization and security best practices.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
