Senior Mobile Application Developer (Android & iOS)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with expertise in Android and/or iOS development to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. This role will focus on building and supporting customer-facing enterprise mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong coding experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support complex application architectures
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in large-scale distributed systems
• Conduct performance analysis and capacity management
• Implement and integrate third-party APIs and services
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and usability standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current with emerging technologies and mobile development best practices

Do you have experience in iOS API integration?, * 7+ years of hands-on mobile application development experience

• Recent experience where coding was the primary responsibility
• Strong experience with:
• Java and Android SDK for enterprise Android applications and/or
• Swift for enterprise iOS applications
• Expertise with Android and/or iOS development tools and environments
• Experience publishing apps to:
• Google Play Store and/or
• Apple App Store
• Strong understanding of:
• Mobile design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Security best practices for mobile applications
• Performance tuning, threading, storage management, and multiple SDK environments
• Experience working with device/system integrations such as:
• Biometrics login
• Push notifications
• System intents (alarms, calendars, gyroscopes, accelerometers, etc.)
• Experience implementing third-party APIs
• Familiarity with tools such as:
• Postman
• SoapUI
• Fiddler
• Working knowledge of Git or similar version control systems
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset
• Passion for technology and continuous learning, * Experience with Kotlin
• Utility industry experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for:
• Publishing Android apps to the Google Play Store
• Publishing iOS apps to the Apple App Store, * hands-on mobile application development: 7 years (Required)
• Android and/or iOS development tools: 3 years (Required)
• implementing third-party APIs: 3 years (Required)
