Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform technical (pre and post) sales support, including implementation planning and documentation, product installation and configuration, follow-on product assessments, preliminary customer training, etc. Deliver conceptual presentation and product demo Provide technical input for sales product knowledge through RFPs, FAQs, Technotes, etc. Contribute to marketing and engineering efforts through input of customer and industry data Work closely with the Technical Support organization in support of customer installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS: BSEE/CS Degree or equivalent and 3+ year’s industry experience including: strong experience in a pre-sales technical or consulting environment. Candidates must have experience with UNIX Operating System (Solaris 2.5/2.6 in particular), TCP/IP Network Protocols, and Networking/Systems Administration. Experience with Application and Database Administration is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills with the confidence to present to all levels and numbers of people. Willingness to travel (30% -60%).

DESIRED SKILLS: Experience with Application and Database Administration is a plus.
