Job description

We are actively hiring a Dive Recompression Chamber Support Technician to report to the LOGSU-1 Dive Department LCPO. You will act as the technical subject matter expert for the command’s hyperbaric facility equipment., * Execute maintenance as mandated by OPNAVINST 4790, NAVFAC, and NAVSEA instructions for all Hyperbaric Facility Equipment.

  • Maintain certified recompression chambers, high air compressors, mix gas, and oxygen piping.
  • Maintain equipment standards IAW the system certification authority (NAVFAC and NAVSEA).
  • Serve as the Work-center supervisor maintaining the PMS SKED computer program for the Hyperbaric Recompression Chamber System.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Piping system maintenance?, * Must possess Navy Dive School certification (NEC 5342/5342 or higher).

  • Must possess qualifications as a Material Maintenance Management (3M) Maintenance Man, 3M QA Craftsman, and 3M Work Center Supervisor.
  • Must possess certification as a factory-trained technician for diving equipment, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor, oxygen clean system worker, and MK 25 UBA maintenance technician.
  • Drug Testing: Must pass a SAMHSA-certified pre-employment drug test and submit to random drug testing at least twice annually.
  • Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
