Job description

This position is responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to evaluate strategic business decisions. The Data Analyst accountable for compiling information in an insightful manner to improve outcomes and lower costs. The Analyst will support projects and performance improvement initiatives across the organization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, * Develops and maintains custom data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI and SharePoint.

  • Applies knowledge of data, data structures and analytical tools to research, identify trends, expenditures, and utilization of resources.
  • Extract and analyze data from various EMR, payor, and HR programs, including databases and spreadsheets to pull metrics on all aspects of Palmetto Infusions daily business processes.

  • Identifies opportunities to create actionable data and reports.
  • Evaluates current processes, reports, and functions and provides performance improvement initiatives.
  • Provides periodic reports to internal and external parties in support of daily operations throughout the company.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and analyze meaningful outcomes reporting to improve and innovate care.
  • Creates summary reports of key performance improvement activities, outcomes, and trends for appropriate committees.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Outlook?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study, Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related

  • 2+ years’ experience in data analysis with proficiency in Microsoft tools and Power BI
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team., * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
