Job description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead our firm’s data strategy and help drive better business decisions through accurate, actionable insights. This role will be responsible for improving data quality, establishing reporting and analytics capabilities, and partnering with firm leadership to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and profitability.

The CDO will oversee data governance, business intelligence, and analytics across the firm and ensure that leadership has the information needed to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the firm’s data strategy.
  • Establish data governance standards and improve data quality.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs for firm leadership in conjunction with our system administrator.
  • Analyze business performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Integrate and organize data across key systems and platforms.
  • Partner with leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage analytics and AI to improve firm performance.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, or related fields.

  • Experience building reporting, analytics, and data governance programs.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization, business intelligence, and data management best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in legal services, professional services, healthcare, insurance, or other data-intensive industries.
  • Experience supporting executive decision-making through analytics.
  • Familiarity with AI and advanced analytics tools.
