Job description
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to lead design, integration, and lifecycle support of complex mechanical systems. The role focuses on translating customer and product requirements into robust system architectures, coordinating cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and suppliers), and ensuring reliable performance of semiconductor equipment throughout development and production., * Define, decompose, and manage system-level requirements and interfaces across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
- Create and validate system architectures, block diagrams, and interface control documents to support OEM semiconductor equipment development.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering to design and specify hardware components, assemblies, and integration methods.
- Lead verification and validation activities including test planning, execution, and analysis for subsystem and system-level acceptance.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for field and production issues; implement design changes and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing to ensure component readiness, quality, and manufacturability for high-volume production.
- Support product launches with integration plans, installation procedures, and customer site support as needed.
- Maintain engineering documentation, bills of materials, release packages, and compliance records.
- Apply systems engineering processes (requirements management, risk analysis, trade studies) and promote continuous improvement and best practices across projects.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System testing?, * Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Systems, or related Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, mechanical design, or OEM equipment development; semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with systems engineering practices: requirements development, interface control, verification & validation, and risk management.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical design and engineering tools (CAD), testing methods, and specifications for precision equipment.
- Experience working with OEM processes, supplier management, and production transfer activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, able to coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and customers.
- Preferred: familiarity with semiconductor equipment, cleanroom processes, and industry standards; experience with MBSE or requirements management tools.
