Job description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our team at the Information Technology Operations Center (ITOC), a 24/7 facility dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation and security of critical IT systems. The System Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications to support continuous operations and mission-critical activities. This role requires expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and security protocols, along with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment., * Monitor servers and systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.·
- Troubleshoot and maintain Exchange and Hyper-V environments.
- Track and resolve system alarms and alerts in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate support teams as needed.
- Implement and maintain security measures to ensure secure and reliable operations.
- Perform regular server troubleshooting tasks on host servers and domain controllers.
- Conduct regular system health checks on servers and critical infrastructure

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Requirements
Do you have experience in System performance monitoring?, * Security+ or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and system security best practices.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including availability for shift work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience working with enterprise servers and VMs.
