Job description
This position is a customer-service oriented individual who provides frontline support for radiologists, technologists, and imaging operations. This role facilitates timely resolution of imaging-related issues, rounds regularly at assigned hospitals, and serves as the first point of contact for imaging technology support (e.g. PACS, Epic, Powerscribe), including remote and after-hours support by phone, and may include remotely accessing devices to identify and resolve issues. Specialist(s) require a thorough understanding of the workflow processes and relationships between ancillary systems and RIS/PACS. This position includes the assurance of proper staff training, daily data and system maintenance, troubleshooting and disaster planning.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical support via phone?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Associates degree or higher., Three (3) or more years of healthcare experience, preferably in imaging or information systems department(s)., Bachelors degree or higher preferred IT and/or technical expertise in PACS system(s) preferred Experience in imaging software and report writing are preferred. Extensive training with medical IS applications. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders Working knowledge of imaging technology and information systems. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Continuous learning mindset to stay current with advancements in the imaging technology field.
