Computer System Engineer

• Perform rack and stack deployment and relocation of servers, storage systems, and network hardware, supporting infrastructure expansion, refresh initiatives, and hardware lifecycle management within production environments.
• Support IMACD activities while maintaining cabling standards, asset tracking, and infrastructure documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues involving servers, storage devices, network interfaces, and structured cabling, performing diagnostics and issue isolation to support service restoration and operational continuity.
• Utilize Linux tools, console access, SSH connectivity, and approved diagnostic scripts to validate system health, investigate operational issues, and support infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Support infrastructure deployment and post-implementation validation activities by performing system health checks, connectivity verification, and operational readiness testing following maintenance and change activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, and cloud operations teams to support deployment activities, operational readiness, infrastructure maintenance, and ongoing operational support for enterprise environments.
• Monitor infrastructure health indicators, review operational alerts, and assist with incident response and troubleshooting activities to maintain system availability, reliability, and operational continuity.
• Document incident investigations, troubleshooting activities, and change records within ITSM platforms to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
• Follow security and access control procedures, supporting secure handling of infrastructure assets and compliance with operational standards.
