Job description

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the technical team in the development and delivery of Java, Node.JS, and Microservices solutions on Amazon Web Services. The role involves providing technical guidance, driving best practices, and ensuring successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of java, node.js, and microservices applications on amazon web services.
  2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical solutions and resolve complex technical issues.
  3. Mentor and coach team members on technical aspects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  4. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain scalability and efficiency.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and technologies.
  6. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in java, node.js, microservices, and amazon web services., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js. * Build RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on performance, security, and scalability. * Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. * Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support CI/CD pipelines. * Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications. * Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web services design?, 1. Proficiency in java programming and development.

  1. Strong expertise in node.js and its runtime environment.
  2. Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
  3. In-depth knowledge of amazon web services (aws) cloud services.
  4. Ability to lead and motivate a technical team towards successful project delivery.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  7. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies., * Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+). * Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture. * Experience with databases: MongoDB and/or SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL). * Knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture. * Experience with version control systems (Git). * Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and AWS cloud platform.

  • Experience with message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
  • Exposure to TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of system design and performance optimisation.
  • Prior experience working in telecom or large enterprise applications.
