Job description

  • Lead large-scale, complex engineering initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services
  • Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Establish and promote engineering standards and best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, production-ready deliverables
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges
  • Drive innovation through adoption of new technologies and AI-enabled development tools
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership within Agile teams
  • Contribute to solution design for cloud-native and distributed systems

Requirements

  • Demonstrated software engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on software development experience with Java
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting APIs and microservices
  • Experience working with AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, agents)
  • Experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization (Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub-based workflows
  • Proficiency with modern development tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
  • Experience supporting trading systems, market data, or FIX-based platforms
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
  • Experience with code quality tools and secure coding practices (e.g., SonarQube)
