Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Oracle Fusion Test Consultant (Utilities) Location: Chantilly, VA. Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Test Consultant to support scenario development, test case creation, and hands-on functional testing for a major ERP transformation in the utility sector.
- The consultant will work closely with business SMEs, QA leadership, and implementation partners to ensure high-quality end-to-end testing across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Projects, Financials, and related modules., * Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand functional requirements.
- Draft business scenarios, test scripts, and detailed test cases for Oracle Fusion Cloud modules.
- Execute functional, integration, and UAT test cycles.
- Validate integration with utility-specific systems (e.g., Cityworks, MWM, Primavera, SharePoint).
- Perform defect logging, triage, and retesting using Jira or similar tools.
- Provide daily progress updates and ensure alignment with testing milestones.
- Assist with data validation, conversions, and reconciliation steps as needed.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (preferably in Financials, Procurement, Projects, Inventory).
- Strong experience writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and traceability.
- Solid understanding of P2P, GL, AP, AR, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Budget processes.
- Experience working in or with water/wastewater or public utility organizations (preferred).
- Familiarity with integrations between ERP and external systems (e.g., Cityworks, MWM, GIS).
- Proficient with testing tools such as Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, qTest, or similar.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams.
