Job description

You’ll work in a swarm model, focusing the team on one priority product at a time to deliver measurable ADA/WCAG accessibility improvements before moving to the next. This role is fully front-end, where you’ll develop and refine ReactJS, HTML, and CSS components, ensure compliance with accessibility standards, and support legacy UI by working with JSPs or similar technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with product, UX, and engineering teams to implement pre-written accessibility requirements, validate outcomes against VPAT, and document improvements. Daily responsibilities include participating in standups, using GitHub workflows for pull requests and code reviews, and proactively surfacing risks or blockers. You’ll also help modernize UI components while maintaining legacy systems, all while tracking progress toward accessibility goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer

  • Strong JavaScript expertise, including ReactJS, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on refactoring and component modifications

  • Experience with JavaServer Pages (JSP) for developing server-side components and supporting legacy UI development * Solid understanding of ADA and accessibility standards

  • Experience with GitHub workflows, including pull requests
