Job description

We are seeking a Medical Application Development Engineer for GUI and DB development. Our application drives surgical team processes around the safe and fully accountable tracking of surgical sharps through graphical workflow controls, image capture and verification, barcode and id scanning, interaction through the application interfaces on screens and devices. The role requires extensive experience using Figma to define the GUI and Workflow. Furthermore, strong database skills in ensuring the DB Schema is defined to support such workflows. Finally, the development skills to implement the Figma defined workflows using Python, Electron, and React., * Complete the Figma Flow: Complete the User Interface Flows working with Magvation Medical Process Experts.

  • Produce appropriate Phython, Electron and React: Implementing the Figma Flow.
  • Database schema additions and changes Implemented: Supporting the Figma Flow
  • Assist test engineering in unit and integration testing of the software produced.
  • Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD): Develop and optimize deployment pipelines that integrate static code analysis (SAST/DAST), vulnerability screening, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) tracking.
  • Support Regulatory Compliance Support: Document infrastructure designs and security configurations to support the generation of the product’s official Design History File (DHF) under FDA medical device frameworks.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
