Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer III to support enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure within a highly available data center environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in Cisco SAN technologies and enterprise storage networking., * Administer and maintain enterprise SAN infrastructure using Cisco MDS and Cisco Nexus.

  • Configure, deploy, and manage SAN fabric connectivity supporting enterprise storage services.
  • Monitor SAN performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Troubleshoot SAN connectivity and performance issues.
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities.
  • Coordinate with storage, server, operations, and vendor teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call support as required.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunications network performance monitoring?, * 8+ years of enterprise SAN administration experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco MDS and Cisco Nexus.
  • Experience with SAN fabric configuration, deployment, and management.
  • Expertise in SAN connectivity, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting enterprise storage networking environments.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring, incident management, and change management processes.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to support 24x7 operational environments.

Required Certification

  • CCNA Data Center or equivalent certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNP Data Center.
  • NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA).
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Experience with NetApp storage environments.
  • Federal or Government infrastructure experience.
  • Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and Disaster Recovery environments.

Education
