The person hired for this position must work closely with team members for application solutions, development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure. This may include working with Third Party Technologies. An important part of the position will be to understand the interactions between applications, and services within the DNR environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions.

The candidate should be motivated to stay on top of technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and agency standards as well as emerging business requirements. The candidate must understand user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. The candidate for this position will need to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and be able to perform a variety of tasks.

The most qualified candidate will have:

• Advanced level application development skill sets including Analysis and Development within Microsoft .NET Framework and Multi-platform environment.

• Coding experience in .NET framework, MVC including C#, VB.NET, Javascript and Bootstrap.

• Experience applying Object Oriented Design.

• Experience applying Standard Security methods to custom applications.

• Experience in SSRS for developing reports.

• Experience creating web APIs with .NET framework.

• Experience developing applications with Oracle backend databases including designing and updating tables, experience writing stored procedures, triggers and SQL.

• Experience working in Visual Studio as well as Azure DevOps including repositories, version control, and deployments.

• Experience following coding standards and best practices.
