Job description

We are actively seeking multiple FPGA Engineers ranging from Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead experience levels to join a growing engineering team supporting advanced defense, aerospace, and mission-critical technology programs in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the design, development, verification, testing, and implementation of FPGA-based solutions for high-performance embedded systems., · Design, develop, implement, and maintain FPGA architectures and firmware solutions.

· Perform FPGA design using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.

· Develop and execute verification and validation plans.

· Create simulation environments and perform functional verification.

· Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and test engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

· Support integration, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.

· Participate in requirements analysis, architecture development, and technical reviews.

· Generate design documentation, test procedures, and technical reports.

· Support hardware bring-up, lab testing, and field deployment activities.

· Contribute to FPGA design improvements and process enhancements.

· Lead engineers may provide technical leadership, mentoring, architecture guidance, and project oversight.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer communication?, · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.

· 3-7 years of FPGA design and development experience.

· Strong experience with FPGA implementation and debugging.

· Hands-on experience with Xilinx or Intel/Altera FPGA platforms.

· Experience with simulation and verification tools.

· Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware integration.

· Experience with high-speed interfaces and embedded processing.

· Strong understanding of timing analysis and FPGA optimization.

· Experience leading complex FPGA development efforts.

Lead FPGA Engineer

· 10+ years of FPGA engineering experience.

· Proven technical leadership experience.

· Ability to define FPGA architecture and development strategy.

· Experience mentoring engineering teams.

· Strong customer-facing and cross-functional leadership skills.

· Ability to lead design reviews and support program execution.
