Level 3 Trading Platform Production Support Engineer

Join a high-performing technology team supporting a low-latency electronic trading platform that powers mission-critical trading operations for one of the world’s largest financial institutions. This is a Level 3 production support role at the intersection of trading, engineering, and governance - where uptime, speed, and precision are everything.

We’re looking for an engineer who thrives under pressure, understands electronic trading systems inside and out, and can partner directly with traders to keep the floor running.

What You’ll Do

Provide Level 3 production support for a low-latency electronic trading platform

Partner directly with traders (AMRS) to resolve issues with urgency

Manage escalations with the trading platform vendor

Own application management, governance, and security mandate implementation

Maintain trading feeds between platforms and surveillance/audit systems

Review application changes, run QA, and validate releases

Debug integration and protocol issues in production-like environments

Support integration projects using Java across Unix and Windows

Do you have experience in Windows?, Hands-on experience supporting electronic trading platforms

ACI MTS experience (must-have)

Knowledge of trading systems - Futures & Bonds

Development knowledge in C++ / C# / Java

Strong integration + protocol expertise with production debugging

Proficiency in Unix and Windows environments

Experience with application testing and release validation

Excellent communication - comfortable working directly with traders

Ability to perform under the stress of supporting live trading systems
