Job description

The project lead will be a hands-on indiviual who will be responsible for planning, execution and management of software development projects.

This include hands-on database architecture, managing developers and closely managing SDLC with team and business useres. The person in this position will lead multiple projects with a few team members, business partners or will work independently. Ability to work with mimimal day-to-day direction. Ability to facilitate meetings and manage interaction across diverse groups including DBAs, developers, oeprations and business departments.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of DWs over a terrabyte. Technical project management of large DWs project estimation for new and existing projects Resource planning and assignment of resources on East and West coasts Status monitoring and reporting to management and business partners Issue tracking and resolution Project budget tracking

5 years experience in large data warehouses 3 years experience of software/engineering project management Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) Ability to manage team on both coasts Solid experience working with Java, Perl, Solaris and AIX Experience in Internet Industry data necessary Must have experience with multiple terabyte data warehouses, Redbrick and DB2 perferred.
